Sealed bid proposals for The Business Incubator Expansion for Downtown Statesboro Development Authority, Statesboro GA will be accepted by the City of Statesboro, opened and read out-loud at the office of Darren Prather, Central Services Director, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458 at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2023. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting for interested contractors at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the project site, 64 East Main Street Statesboro GA 30458.
The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority is soliciting bids from experienced and qualified General Contractors who are interested in submitting a proposal and entering into a contract for the Business Incubator Expansion. The project consists of approximately 8,000 SF of renovated office space and minor renovations to 2,800 SF lab building.

Bids must be filed on Form C (Section C “Proposal Form”). Proposal Forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the Base Bid. Both Performance and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price.
Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the owner to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
It is understood and agreed that the bidder agrees that this bid shall be an option, which is hereby given to the Owner to accept or reject this bid at any time within sixty (60) calendar days from the date on which it is opened and read. It is expressly covenanted and agreed that this proposal is not subject to withdrawal by the bidder during the term of said option. The party submitting the bid is solely responsible for delivering the bid to the exact location and by the time stated.
This project (EDA Investment No. 04-79-07475) will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. Contractors are hereby notified that they are encouraged, to the greatest extent practicable, to purchase American‐made equipment and products with funding provided under this award.

The City of Statesboro requests submittals of qualifications and invitation to bid from qualified contractors for the Roadway Improvements Project in conjunction with Bulloch Street Sidewalk Project. All roads with supplemental information can be located on the location map provided in this IBT package.
“Sealed” bids will be received by the City of Statesboro Engineering Division at Municipal Court, 22 W. Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia, 30458 (Attention: Darren Prather, Director of the Department of Central Services) until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023 to perform work under the contract for “City of Statesboro ENG-137 / ENG-122o”.
The work in this contract includes concrete pouring and forming for sidewalk and curb and gutter along four different roads around Statesboro.
A mandatory pre-bid conference with a walkthrough of project locations will be begin at the First United Methodist Church Parking Lot on June 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Proposal forms and specifications can be obtained from the City of Statesboro Engineering Division at City Hall. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid. See specifications for the requirements concerning other bonds and insurance.

The City of Statesboro is requesting for written quotes for Nuisance Trapping Services. This quote shall be for the capture and removal of animals with respect to wildlife laws and city ordinances. If access to private property is necessary, it is required to obtain permission from the owner.
The contract will be for a two (2) year) contract beginning July 1, 2023 and terminating on June 30, 2025.
The City of Statesboro will assist, if needed. The contractor will be required to present all tails for notching, along with the location of catch and a picture for proper documentation. Proof of insurance shall be required before the award of the contract.
Written quotes will be accepted by the City of Statesboro until 3:00 PM EST on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 3:00 PM EST at the Office of Darren Prather, Central Services Director, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. Written quotes may be accepted via hand delivery, United States Postal Service or other carrier service, and electronic mail. Written quotes must be clearly labeled NUISANCE TRAPPING SERVICES on submitted documentation. Written quotes received after the designated time will not be considered.

The City of Statesboro is soliciting for sealed bid proposals for the Statesboro Fire Station #2 located in Statesboro, Georgia. This is a re-bid with modifications. Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Statesboro until 11:00 AM EST on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the office of Darren Prather, Central Services Director, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. The sealed bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered.

The City of Statesboro requests for invitation to bid (ITB) and submittal of qualifications from qualified contractors for the plant mix resurfacing on roads within the City of Statesboro (COS). Through this ITB, the City of Statesboro is seeking bids with Statements of Qualifications from competent firms who are GDOT Pre‐Qualified Contractors for plant mix resurfacing services.
Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Central Services’ Purchasing Division at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia, 30458 until Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM EST to perform work under the contract for “City of Statesboro Street Resurfacing FY 2023”. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Statesboro Municipal Court Room.
The work in this contract includes asphalt resurfacing of approximately 5.76 miles of city streets and 27,866 square yards of asphalt milling as well as permanent grassing, shoulder dressing, and the installation of thermoplastic striping. All roads can be located on the location map provided in the bid package.
Overview
The qualified bidders must provide verifiable experience at construction of similar projects in accordance with these specifications. Bidders shall submit a minimum of three (3) references (including a contact email) demonstrating experience completing projects of similar scope. Bidders that respond to this request, and are determined by COS to be sufficiently qualified, will also submit a cost proposal for these services. All bidders are subject to instructions communicated in this document, and are cautioned to completely review the entire ITB and follow instructions carefully. COS reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of COS.
