The City of Statesboro is committed to operating efficiently to manage costs while maintaining high standards in drinking water, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. As the cost of goods and services continues to rise across the country, it has become necessary to adjust our utility rates to ensure the long-term sustainability of these critical services. Unlike other services, water utilities are not supported by tax dollars-costs are covered through utility bills. These rate changes will help the City upgrade outdated infrastructure, meet state and federal requirements, and continue providing safe, reliable utility services for our community.
