Engineering Division has the responsibility of street & drainage design, roads & drainage inspections for City projects, adminstering City’s streets repaving & striping program, traffic engineering studies & improvements, & development of road & drainage improvements.  We also administer & enforce Flood Plain Damage Prevention Ordinance, Tree Ordinance, Soil Erosion, Sedimentation & Pollution Control Ordinance & Driveway Standards & Policies.

The Protective Inspections Division is resposible for performing Building, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and ADA Inspections on all residential & commercial construction within the City of Statesboro to ensure they are in compliance with applicable building codes.
